Funeral Flowers

Choosing funeral flowers for a loved one or friend at an emotional time is an important and challenging decision.

From traditional arrangements to truly unique and bespoke designs, I will work with you to ease the planning and preparation for the day. Sometimes the close family may request a theme for the funeral, such as a colour or favourite flower of the deceased.

Bespoke Funeral Flowers

One way that some like to leave a parting farewell is to have flowers arranged to capture the memory of the dearly departed, such as having flowers arranged in the shape of a favourite tipple or even an ode to a hobby such as a football team or a motorcycle. There are different types of funeral flowers. Typically the kind you should choose will depend on your relationship with the deceased or bereaved.

Coffin Tributes

Coffin displays, also known as casket displays, are usually from immediate family members. Casket sprays and crosses are some of the traditional styles used.

Funeral Sprays

A funeral flower spray is either single or double-ended in form, is often used for graveside services and is typically displayed standing using an easel.

Funeral Wreaths

A funeral wreath is a classic tribute and can be used either independently or with other styles. Their versatility means that they can suit almost any colour of flowers to pay your respects and create a modern or traditional design. They are suitable to be sent directly to a funeral as a mark of respect if you cannot attend in person.

Funeral Sheaves

A tied shied or hand-tied sheave is an ideal and fitting replacement for a traditional bouquet. Suitable to be sent directly to both the funeral and a home address after the event.

Funeral Posies and Funeral Baskets

Funeral posies and baskets usually act as a gift to the bereaved family. The posy is a very traditional design; its circular shape allows flowers and foliage to be on full display.
